Joe Powers is a Chicago based artist making waves in the local scene who is ready to drop his début album. All songs are written, produced, and arranged by Joe at VSOP studios with Matt Hennessy working the board. Musicians involved in his debut album include Rudy de Anda, Spencer Tweedy, Wyatt Waddell, and Wilchai.

Open Source was my debut program on SEDR in 2020. The program ran for 8 episodes and concluded with the release of SEDR 4.0 in 2022/23. At the time, I was obsessed with analog/interface design and I wanted to create my own version of a handheld SEDR device - complete with touch screen and all. I scrambled the SEDR logo for every program and changed the color scheme based on the set. I will always look back fondly on Open Source.

Past Future FM is my radio program hosted on SEDR, broadcasting live every Friday from 8-9 AM CST. Past Future has been the sonic extension of my current life, not bound by genres or BPM, but free flowing and sometimes quiet. Mistakes will be made, records will skip, and things will get chopped. Tune in sometime...who knows, it might not be there tomorrow.
